Feeling like she has lots of clothes, but nothing to wear
Wanted options to make her feel more put together.
I included two looks that I styled for this client because I wanted to show that sometimes parts of your style can look different depending on what activity you are doing. The first look leans more sporty, but the bold sneaker and the light, short sleeve layer adds a little something extra to the plain tennis dress. The second look speaks more to her classic, preppy side and can be worn casually to meet a friend for lunch or to do some shopping.

She wanted to better utilize her body shape and style profile in the pieces of clothing she is adding to her closet. Also wanted to up her game with her outfits for work.
I loved these colored denim jeans for her because I felt like they would go with a lot of what she probably already owns, while being a little different than just blue or black jeans. Adding the jean jacket adds some interest to the outfit and the platform leather sneaker speaks to her edgy side and love for a funky sneaker.

-I styled a formal event look with pieces she could wear again. This washable stretch silk dress from Quince would be great for weddings and parties for a long time! Paired with some star-themed earrings and a gold shoes, she’s ready to go. I chose accessories that would also serve her in everyday life.
-Of course we couldn’t leave her without any fun everyday pieces in her guide! I styled this look with pieces she can wear now and into the next season. The blouse will be great for her year-round and the sweater and sandals can be thrown on with jeans when the weather starts to cool off.

-I loved this dress as another wedding option—the colors are perfect for her and the shape will feel so comfortable as she is dancing. For the wedding, I recommended pairing with a pashmina in any of her palette colors, but I wanted to show her another way of styling it with a great denim jacket for more casual occasions or going out to dinner. The denim jacket is a great wardrobe staple for her. A thick strap sandal in a metallic with a platform adds more of her edgy style to contrast the dress.
-Having a great wardrobe is about having the right pieces in your closet so you can go anywhere. Even though her core style is casual, she needs those go-to pieces so that dressing up doesn’t cause any stress. I started with this pink sweater tank that would look great with her shorts or jeans and a versatile navy bomber for her sporty, edgy style. The Pixie pant in navy is so comfortable and can be paired with any top she owns from tees to blouses. A cute comfortable flat can be hard to find. This navy pair will give her a lot of mileage.

-My client was really looking for wardrobe staples, especially tanks for her body shape. This Old Navy one is a favorite! Paired with off white denim, a striped cardigan, and a sleek sandal, she’s ready to go!
-A cute, casual sporty look for running errands around town while still looking stylish. The color blocked hoodie marries her sporty and edgy styles nicely, and the sporty jogger and neutral sneaker complete the look.
