Best Basic Tees for Your Wardrobe

Trust me even if you don't think you need one, you need one. This is a piece that is either all together missing in your closet, or the ones you have are due for an upgrade. This should be a piece that you are wearing regularly, meaning the chances of it being over-worn are high!

Having a stock of good basic tees is essential for every woman's wardrobe. This is the number one item missing from my client's closets. We discover its absence when we are trying to create effortless yet chic layered looks. Giving you that casual cool look that Jennifer Aniston pulls off so well!

Why are women stumped when it comes to finding a good one? Because it's a style that should fit well, but not be too fitted. It should drape, not cling. It should have an open neck, but not feel sloppy. Lots of details to negotiate right.

I've got you covered.

+ Look for descriptors like slub, boyfriend, vintage.

+ Stay away from fitted, crewneck, stretch.

+ Vneck and scoop neck are best. These necklines are the most flattering and will compliment a layered look.
