I wanted to say that although I learned a lot of practical things from you about organization and getting back in the habit of dressing myself intentionally, I think my biggest take away was permission to take care of myself. Permission to treat myself better and feel like I’m allows to feel good about myself, I’m allowed to spend some time thinking about myself. And that has been so valuable to me in the last few weeks. I’ve been having trouble navigating my postpartum self—the extra rolls, the tired face, etc—and you really gave me a boost. Thanks. [Oh I also organized my husband’s side of the closet in the same way and he loves it!]

I have already put your advice and direction to immediate use and bought a burgundy/wine cardigan that I love (at Marshalls of course!) and—no lie—the compliments are coming in daily on the adjustments I’m making to my wardrobe and styling. Even my husband noticed a “new outfit” that I put together from my existing pieces in a new way. So quite simply, it was the best and most fun use of two hours possible!  I cannot recommend the Styled Right by Fashion Fix class highly enough.  Lindsey immediately made my friends and family feel comfortable enough to ask questions and get the most out of the experience.  Each gal that attended enjoyed several moments of revelation when presented with a new perspective or information in each of the categories of organization, shopping, and styling.  Lindsey's tips and suggestions are incredibly personalized and practical, and we've all changed a number of our old habits to look and feel more organized and styled!

Lindsey has a down-to-earth, welcoming personality that warmed the room immediately. She brought props (clothes/accessories/mannequin) with her, which helped her convey her messages and appealed to the more visual learners in the class. Her handouts were easy to understand and again provided both context and pictures to help the students again visualize what she was teaching. In the two hours, our participants learned about making your closet organized and productive, how to style their wardrobes, and how/when to shop... being able to interrupt with questions at any time. Each participant thanked me after the class for offering it, and told me how much fun they had.  I would not hesitate having Lindsey return with this or a different class in the future. It was well received, reasonably priced, and fun.

Lindsey has a strong retail background that she has continued to transition to styling women and positioning their clothing to make them feel empowered through a productive and styled wardrobe.  She is an excellent presenter, is always on time and always sticks around to answer individual questions and assist with clothing/accessory selections.  Lindsey has worked with Second Debut on numerous occasions from being a stylist on a Saturday (all day) with 45 minute to 1 hour appointments, complimentary to our customers. Recently, I found out that I was going to be going to be accompanying my husband to Chicago where he was being presented a Lifetime Achievement Award.  I panicked because I am not feeling comfortable the weight I am, the dress size I want to be and also because I don’t even know what is in style or what looks good on me.

I was desperate and mentioned that to a friend.  She told me about Fashion Fix. Lindsey explained in great detail what I should be looking for in any outfit, jewelry, shoes and purses.  That was such a bonus!
